H.E. The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication, Mohamed bin Thamer AlKaabi, chairman of the NSSA Board of Directors, and the Egyptian Space Agency CEO professor Sherif Mohamed Sedky signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the space sector, on the sidelines of the eighth meeting of the Arab Space Cooperation Group, which is being held for the first time outside the state of the presidency (the United Arab Emirates), where H.E. AlKaabi inaugurated the meeting this morning at Sakhir Air Base, with the participation of delegations from Arab countries.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the space sector, exchange information between them, establish joint projects that serve the space sector between the two countries, facilitate the development of human resources and exchange experiences between them, and adopt initiatives that contribute to the development of the space field in terms of technological development, building satellites, and promoting and developing space technologies.
