Calling on Bahraini student artists ages 7 to 12 years old, this is your chance to launch your talent all the way to space. You are challenged to give us a glimpse of our space future as YOU see it and put STEM into the picture by engaging your creative and critical thinking skills to produce smart space art.

Participants are free to go versatile and create as many inspirations and graphic references and combine manual work with digital refinements. No medium is off limits. Draw by hand, sketch or paint your way towards artistically unearthing the mysteries and magic of space.

The contest is now open. Apply to participate and once you’re onboard, get on with your masterpiece. Submit your original, space-oriented artwork accompanied by a video in English or Arabic explaining your creative process at nssa.competition@gmail.com

Artwork submissions will be accepted until September 9. Entries will be judged according to originality, relevance to the space science theme and creativity. The top 3 winners will be announced on the second week of September via social media.

The objectives of the challenge is to:

  2. Increase awareness about how art, design and space sciences are related.
  3. Encourage children to engage in space science in fun ways.

NSSA await your crafty designs ! The criteria for your designs must include:

  1. Originality: An original piece of your work clearly depicting the design.
  2. Relevance: Artwork must convey space as the theme and design functional and appropriate to that atmosphere.
  3. Creativity: Artwork must express your own interest in design, science, future an exploration.

Artwork requirements:
