Bahrain Airport Modernization Program
To keep pace with the aviation growth, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has developed a comprehensive project known as the “Airport Modernization Programme”
The project aims at elevating the Bahrain International Airport infrastructure and services. The development project will transform Bahrain International Airport into a facility that is at par with Bahrain’s leading position within the industry. The project will build on the Kingdom’s historical position, transforming it into a vibrant platform for travels and reinforcing the role it plays as Bahrain’s gateway to the world. Upon the project’s completion, it is expected that the airport’s capacity will increase to accommodate 14 million passengers a year.
